Prince's band

That's me enjoying being with these wonderful horses!
The Sand Wash mare Moonlight, notice her blaze does not wrap around her cheek like Sunshine's does. These mares could be sisters they look so much alike!

Prince's band, I had not seen these guys since late November.

I had a friend with me and she decided to name Moonlight's foal Dusty. I still haven't determined filly or colt nor can I decide grey or roan?!

Here's little Oda and his mom, Sunshine. Looks so much like my Odakota, this is another foal I don't know the gender of.

The band stallion Prince.

Pretty chestnut Sand Wash mustangs.

There's Cross Mountain in the background.

It was so great to see these horses again and know they are surviving the winter.

Prince looks wonderful!

It was a bright sunny day out at the wash. The only horses we saw were Prince, his 2 mares and 2 foals. I hadn't seen these guys since November. I was glad to see they all looked good and were all still together. Moonlight seems to be the dominant mare and the most wary. They were kind and let us view them quite close. They were soaking up the sun and pawing a bit for food. Sure wish I knew if the foals were colts or fillies. I am hoping fillies as there seems to be a lack of females in this herd.
