Gab and Pat with Sterling's band behind them.

We saw Lightning's band at sunset. All 7 members were accounted for. Still have not determined if little Flash is a colt or a filly. He or she looked great, along with the rest of the family. The mares were pretty wary and we watched as they grouped together and walked into the sunset...beautiful sight.

Here's Crow and Star. Glad to report Star was not limping!

White Out's band is still real close to Sterling's. There is little River peering behind aunt Ivy's rump!

Sterling is in charge of the welcoming commitee to Sand Wash Basin! He is one handsome mustang!
Had some fellow wild horse lovers come up to vist. We saw 23 horses total in 2 visits. Sterling and White out were still hanging out together. They allowed us to view them fairly close. We also saw Sage and Lightning's bands from a distance. There were also 3 horses far away on a ridge I could not identify. We came to the conclusion there is a distinct lack of horses in this great basin.
