Here is the coming two year old...River. Mustang tough this guy...he is wintering just fine and I believe will shed out to be a handsome grulla this spring.
Look how pregnant the mare is! Her handsome yearling son is never far from her side.

I am glad to report the horses have fresh water and plenty of it...there was a huge melt down last week. It has been a long, hard winter, but things are looking up!
Strider has a happy little roll in the snow.
Napping in the breeze.
More napping...these horses really slow down in the winter.
He has developed a wind knot in his mane and so has his mare. We had a huge windstorm here...winds over 50 mph!
Josie is a good looking little mustang mare.
White Out leads his family away....standing between me and them. He is a good loyal stallion. I am pretty sure he is an older guy judging by his color.

Hi Nancy, what an incredible site you have here, so many band dynamics that you have documented. Is there a way to send you a private message from this site? Thanks, Lauren

I'm so glad the snow is starting to melt and they have some water. Spring is just around the corner!
