Odakota, my adopted Sand Wash boy

Here's Odakota last winter. I worked with him quite a bit, trailering, leading, brushing, picking up feet and alot of carrots. He is the sweetest horse I have ever owned (Well, I say that about all my horses)! Isn't he adorable? For the first week or so I kept him at a neighbors because she had a safe corral, while I had one built at my place. For quite a while he showed signs of depression, it was really sad to watch. But my 2 older Arabians finally accepted him and eventually he settled in. I tried to work with him everyday... a little bit at a time, it paid off! He is a good boy and a living legend...Sand Wash Proud. It is so cool to know where he came from and to be able to watch his herd live in a natural state.
