Here's the band stallion, always looking out for his family.
Here comes Grey Boots and Dot.
Guess what? The horse in the back here I named Hazel is a stallion! I'll call him Haze. Seems to like Sky quite a bit, as these two were hanging out together.
Here's Lightning and the bay I call Dot.
They all gathered on the ridge for a fine family portrait.
Grey Boots was all over Lightning this day.
The other white mare, Lady, is Flash's mom. She is also lead mare. I found out little Flash is a stud colt today. Another one!

Haze could be related to my adopted wild one. There's that Sand Wash blaze again, wrapping around the cheek.
These horses form very strong bonds amongst one another. It's beautiful to see. I feel blessed with every encounter I have with these wild horses.
This band is not far from when I saw them back in November. Actually all the family bands seem to have a certain area on the range.

Haze and Sky. I wonder how and if they are related.

Here's Flash and Dot.
Lightning, loyal Sand Wash band stallion. His facial marking never cease to amaze me!

Your beautiful images of these gorgeous wild horses in the glistening white snow look so surreal. It must be brilliant to see them in person. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see them looking so fabulous! Falling snow adds to your photos! Great job keeping track of these handsome horses!
