The horses were curious about me and let me get a good look at them.
Here is the mare, Lark, with the two youngsters. I know the pinto is hers. but I am not sure about the little bay filly. Is she an orphan?
This is the young stallion in the band. He has been given the name Hoot. I don't know if he is Lark's yearling or a tag along bachelor stallion. For awhile he left and joined the bachelors, but now he is back with his family.
Hoot looks up to Eagle, even when he is having a bad hair day!
Falcon is a split face pinto colt. Extra cute and special.
Look at Eagle's face. Is that a big scar?
Glad to be alive and roaming the range freely like his ancestors before him...Falcon.
Hoot loves little Sparrow. She is a special needs horse. Her family cares for her.
Eagle seems to be telling secrets to Hoot.
I love this little frail filly. I hope she can survive a brutal Sand Wash winter. All I can do is hope.
