Kokomo & Tango

Today I see the little pinto bachelor stallion Kokomo. I had heard reports of him being very lame and alone. I am glad that he is with Tango, Picasso's yearling son who just recently left his family.
What a pretty pinto pair they make! I have often wondered if Koko is also a Picasso baby?

Here is young Tango. Isn't he a looker?

Koko had a slight limp, but I think he is on the rebound. It is a very good sign he is hanging out with another horse.

I hope Tango has gained enough wisdom to survive the harsh elements of Sand Wash Basin. He seems awfully young to be on his own. I know Koko has survived at least a couple of winters. Hopefully he will teach this young stallion the wild horse ways....

The other yearling colt from Picasso's band is still with the band. His dam did not have a 2010 foal. Tango's dam has Mango, a little filly.
