The guy looking at the camera is Red Rounder, the stallion that just recently acquired this little band of horses. The guy with his nose in the air is his yearling pinto brother, Flash.
This is the other mare and her colt in the band. This colt was born a couple of months ago.
It is nice to see a band with 2 foals, so many families just have 1. here is Caballero with the handsome Diego. Brothers.
He has a great big blaze. This little guy is just extra cute!
He stays close to his mom and the rest of his family like wild horses do.

The next generation of Sand Wash mustangs. So far there have been around 30 foals born on the range this year.
Each one is special and unique.

Nancy, I am so happy to see Pablina and Diego and Caballero being taken good care of by Rounder. I'd love to hear an update about Lightning. Has he found another mare or family again? or is he still travelling solo?
