WildWind's Band (feat WildFlower)

WildWind, the elegant chestnut band stallion, has a new member in his band. A sweet little filly we named WildFlower.

WildThing, her mom, is very protective of her new youngster, She keeps a watchful on on me, but let's me get a new look at this modern day mestango.

She has an almost identical star to her dam!

WildWind's lead mare is the white, WildHeart. You can tell her by that smudge mark on her chest. No foal for her this year. Her yearling roan son is clingy. We call him WildFire.

Here is the other yearling in the band, a colt, Wildboy. WildFlower is most likely his full sister.

The stallion has a different look...quite refined. He is a real looker with his flaxen mane and tail.

The other foal in this band was born about a month ago. The grulla/pinto mare, Sugar, has no babies of her own and has claimed this one (WildSoul) as her own, although WildStar, a 2 year old filly is his dam. The foal nurses off his mom of course, but this older, more mature mare teaches him the ways of the range. Not just any horse could survive out here. The mustangs need a well organized social structure with the elders leading the way.
