I spot a new mare in Corona's band, she has a grey foal. I'll call her Swanny.

Corona was all over her this day....Here she is below with her 2009 foal.

Saw Corona and his family again today. Had to hike quite a ways to where they were, but well worth it! I was confused at first. The pinto mare and the lame perlino foal were missing and there was a new mare with a grey foal. Corona kept looking in the distance, I heard a whinny and lagging behind was the pale pinto mare and the delicate foal. His USHS name is Tripod, but I call him Whisper and his awesome dam, Cheyenne. I watched them walk to the band, he does well considering. The right rear hock is swollen or deformed. The new mare is pretty and I think Corona thinks so too! It seemed like she was in heat. I hope the PZP drug is not messing up her heat cycles, I have read it does that. I hung with them for quite awhile, truely magical. The chestnut babies are robust and playful. The chestnut mare and Rose are butter balls and the black mare is elegant looking.
