What a gorgeous mid winters day out at The Wash. As I drove in I had a feeling it was going to be a good day...Right away in Sand Wash proper I saw signs of horses, lots of tracks in the snow and fresh poop. Saw one lone sorrel horse in the distance, this gave me hope and courage to drive on, I now knew 6.5 miles of CR 47 were plowed, well, I got to where the plowing stopped but there were car tracks up to a hump where I might get a view, I thought I'd try it, I could always go backwards in my tracks... OMG there was Yellow Cat! I noticed her first, then I saw Vogue and her foal! I figured out Femur, the bay, is the stallion. Yellow Cat, Vogue and the Black  are his mares. There is one precious foal, Vogue's, who has Sage's stripe. I really love Vogue, she is defiantly one of my favorites!
