Frisky bachelor stallions

I spot Benson streaking across the vast sage land with a handsome sorrel stallion in tow.
A nice sorrel with a great big white stripe. He is snorty and curious about me.

Benson has been seen with various other bachelor stallions. No mistaking Benson, with his baldy face ,blue eyes and sturdy build.

They approach me, but do not stay for long.

I'll call him Atomic, he is a beauty.

They flirted around in the strong winds.

Here you can see Atomic's mustangy profile. Do not mistake him for a domisticated horse, he is a wild horse through and through.

They have wintered well, now they are eating the first shoots of green and drinking fresh water. Long may they run!

Thanks for sharing these with us. Yes, they are most colorful--beautiful animals. Keep us entertained with this herd. I hope to get out to visit this spring.
