These girls are posers!

The stallion is third from the left.

Juniper

Tulip seems pleased with her new stallion. This band is calm and easy going.

Here you can see that half ear clearly.

They blend in so well with the high desert landscape, it is really something else. These horses have evolved to live in this extreme climate. Or is is not evolved? These horses are put together well, all horses seem sound after a long winter. More then sound, conditioned!

The grey mare, Pearl, has such a sweet expression.

Look at those desert colors!

Juniper getting told to hustle!

Glamour girl Grace.

There is Cowgirl on the left striking a pose.

You take such beautiful pictures. Love them so much.
Thanks Lea! I am just learning photography. Soon I might be getting a "real" camera. It is so much fun to take pictures of these guys, but also can be so frustrating. I have missed so many great shots, I can't tell you! I'm glad you like the ones I have got. Cosmo's band is so tolerant of me!
Nancy,
Great photos and stories. I really enjoy your posts and look forward to them. Keep up the good work. I hope that someday I will get to meet you. I know all about the frustration of missing some great shots! But, there are always more just waiting to happen!

Thanks Billie! Yes, I would love to meet you too. You and your blog really inspire me. My dream would be to have a group of friends for these horses like you have for The Little Book Cliffs. We are lacking advocates for this herd, but I'm hoping that will change!
