Tuscarora

Here is the band led by the sorrel stallion.
This is the newest foal. We will name hin Tuscarora after the 12 horses that died in Nevada recently. They were driven by helicopters in extreme heat...the foals too young.

But for now these Sand Wash ponies run free! Everyone in this band looks healthy and sound! They have 2 foals spaced about 3 months apart. The white mare in the middle had one early on, but he must have died. He was a bay.
Here is the older of the two siblings, a filly. She is a dun like her dam.
I believe the white mare to be alpha.
Here is she is striding across the desert with her grey filly.
See how alert? She is a sentinal for the family.
