Corona's grey mare finally had her foal and it is a beautiful little sorrel colt! We have named him Indiana Jones! This is my first glimpse of him...

The newest addition to Corona's band. He was born just about the same time his sister was born last year and about in the same place. He looks healthy and range tough.

Here are some other members of this stunning band. The sorrel mare, Lona, is shown with all three of her offspring. The mare resting her head on Bobby's back is the alpha, Cheyenne ,(palomino pinto)

Corona was most interested in his black mare, Em, on this day. She also has not had a foal since 2009. Her bay 2009 filly, One Spirit, is still with her.

That is the early filly (born in April) Can Wakan. She is a eal standout and seems to know it! She loves to pose for the camera...or so it seems...

The only other colt in the band besides Indiana Jones, Bobby. He will be a palomino like his sire. The mares take good care of him. He is a Sand Wash beauty!

There is Can Wakan. Bobby is her full brother.

The little guy has a nice star and is kinda little....not as stocky as Can Wakan when she was a newborn.

The one and only....Can Wakan. She is growing fast and is a real jewel of The Basin. Love her!

All legs this one. Salute to The Wild Horse Gods!

Just about perfect. He was born into a harmonious band which will help in this extreme environment. Corona is a good band stallion, he really is in his prime. it is something to see..

He might grey out. For now he has his fuzzy newborn coat and little fox tail.

Learning from his mom, Indian Rose. She is an experienced dam and also has her yearling filly, Yampatika by her side. She had a sorrel colt in 2009 we named Craig. She kicked him out as soon as Yampa was born last year. He is now running with the bachelors.

Indiana Jones...Long may you run!

Here is a shot of the handsome band stallion, Corona.
