Jet

Here are 3 of the 4 pairs of mares and foals. Razzle and Dazzle, Scenic and her black foal (needs name), Sun Spot and her bay baby (needs name). I do not know the gender of any of the yearlings.
This is one of the bigger Sand Wash bands I have seen. Jet is the black dot on the right. He has 4 gorgeous mares and babies ( probably not all his). He is of excellent proportion. He is a beauty!

These two pairs like to be near each other.

Jet and his harem.

There is the grulla mare on the right. So pregnant! Her little guy has a huge blaze.

Just hanging out being wild horses.

I like these guys so much, I posted the picture twice!

Jet, the band stallion.

Love these bay pintos. Razzle and Dazzle!

The magnifiant stallion. He has found a good spot for him and his family to hang out.

The only horses missing from this picture are Jet, the grulla mare and Sun Spot.

Love the Sand Wash blaze's.

Karen has named the mare on the left, Scenic.

The horse on the right is the grulla's baby.

Here is a whiter then white mare with her bay baby. Marcia has named her Sun Spot, need a name for the baby.

Here are 3 of the 4 pairs. I was unable to determine the gender of any of the youngsters. You can't really tell from this picture, but Sun Spot's foal is a bay. The middle one is black, like Jet. The pinto is amazing and never leaves his or hers mom side! Too me, all the mares look like they could be pregnant.

Here's the curious stallion on the banks of the Little Snake River.

This is the grulla mare's foal from last year. She seems to ignore him quite a bit.

Here is the black stallion I'll call Jet

Well, I went back to where I saw the 9 horses yesterday and was thrilled to see that they were still there! I was not able to get real close up pictures, but was close enough to observe and document the band. The stallion is a gorgeous, athletic pure black. He is quite wary and even though we had the Little Snake between us, he never completely relaxed, but he didn't fllee the whole time I observed. He has 4 robust mares, a grulla, 2 pintos and a white, they all have a colt or filly from last year. The foals are a bay, a pinto, a black and another black guy with a huge blaze. More then one of the mares looks pregnant...

Aha ... if you name the white mare "Sun Spot" it will almost be like she's my mustang even though I could never adopt one ... never owned a horse, but that does not diminish my love and concern for these magnificent animals! And I was the one to suggest that name for the other white horse on here! Hugs!!

Sun Spot it is! Thanks for caring about these horses and taking the time to look at my blog. Sun Spot is gorgeous and I'm pretty sure she is with foal. I will try to keep you updated! Nancy(-:

Wow!! Thank you so much! Guess you could caller her Sunny, for short. She is beautiful and can't wait to see if she foals! I read a dozen or so Mustang blogs every day, just to see what is going on with them. You've just made my Monday! LOL

Wasn't sure about where to put the names, but here goes it:
"WildWind" "Chase" "Spaz" "Red Sonya" "Ricky" "G", and "CowgirlOnCoffee" (with WildWind and CowgirlOnCoffee will do much publicity work with on the two businesses).
