Her is Sir Duke, the orphan yearling who was alone the last time I saw him. I am glad he has found some buddies.
The chestnut looks young to me. Really pretty, reminds me of my adopted Sand Wash boy.
He was pretty skittish.
Sir Duke
Sterling seems to be the dominent horse here. He was once a proud and mighty band stallion. His grey coat really shows his battle wounds.
That's Ghost in the front. The new Ghost.
This old red roan was on the ridge. I am pretty sure it is the horse that was with Frosty's band this spring. I wonder if Frosty and his family escaped to the other side of the fence? I have not seen them since April. They were the largest band with 14 members. This guy seems to want to get to the other side. The horses aren't talking. A friend of the horses has named him Dolor, meaning sadness.
Benson is back on the ridge. He is lame and minus his friend Snow Man.
