I saw Viggo's band and am sorry to report it looks like little Destiny did not make it. She was our 2010 medicine hat filly that was born late last summer. The 2009 medicine hat colt, Stomper, is still with the band along with the black mare, Raven (not pregnant again) and the medicine hat mare. I took this photo and they took off running and they kept running and running. It was quite a sight. I took it as they are glad spring is here!
Picasso came out of winter looking a little thin, but he is ok. He still has the Sombrero mare (Monet), who is also very thin and his medicine hat (pregnant) and her yearling filly Mango. His bay mare along with her colt, PJ, were missing. I bet they show up with another stallion.
Yellow Man and Pearl are still together. They seem to really like each other. His other mare Crow was also with him along with her 2 year old colt River and her filly Owl. Crow was a little thin, but Owl was a chunk! They are hanging out with White Out's band again.
Saw this horse cruising the east fence line. He would not let me touch him. It looks like he is a branded mustang? I hope his owners find him. I will tell the BLM.
That is Corona's 2 year old son, Craig, on the left with the young bachelor stallion, Outlaw. They were traveling across the flats with Chrome, a more dominent stallion, leading the way. Outlaw is beautiful. I did not capture it in this photo but his mane and tail have really gone a light flaxen color.
Saw this bunch of bachelors. I think it is Aragon, Zeus, Vegas and Chrome (this was the day before the above photo when Chrome was with Craig and Outlaw).
The cute "in love" couple Yellow Cat and Blazer are still together. They are on there own. He is snaking her around as usual. She is not pregnant. Last year they joined up with "the mob" (Chief and Brave's group).
