Anyway here is the only youngster. he has been ID'd as a friend who recently lost her beloved horse with the same name....Buck. He is one of those scrufffy youngsters that will bloom into a beautiful Sand Wash dun. It is not unusual here to have a band with only one youngster (yearling in this case).
There are two stallions. They are both sorrells. One has a stripe and this is the other one. I'm not sure, but I think this is the dominant one.
There is only one mare, this grey. I will have to go back and look at some video I took of this band last summer. I believe there was at least one more mare. Also the bachelor stallion, Hank, was with them. He is now near by running alone (last seeen). He was running the east fence line which makes me wonder if some of this band went to the other side.
The two stallions. I don't understand their relationship. they were scrapping a little, but mostly harmonious.
She doesn't look pregnant. Hopefully we will get a better idea of who these individual mustangs are as we get further into wild horse viewing season...
