He really is something else! Razzle and Dazzle seem to think so too!
He really checked me out. Back and forth, snorting, but in the end he kinda aceepted me and let me have a look at his beautiful collection of four mares, four yearlings and his new 2010 filly.
All four of the yearlings are in this photo. They are in the middle flanked by the pinto mares Scenic and Razzle.
No mistaking Razzle's unusual pinto coat pattern, she has a distinctive swirl of white on her left side. That's her baby behind her, then her best friend Scenic.
Here is the new filly. She is a thing of wild beauty. She has a grulla mom who I call Zephyr. We will name her Kinstry.
Here is Sun Spot. Her yearling is behind her. To me she looks pregnant. We Need a name for her grulla yearling. I have not been able to determine gender.
The mighty Jet.
This will be interesting to see what color she will end up being.
Razzle and Dazzle, striking a pose.
Here is Scenic and her yearling, Beauty.
I saw this filly as a newborn on the banks of The Little Snake River back in April. She can really fly across her desert home now. She has a good wild horse family that looks after her. And a few humans that care.
Here is the wee dun with her brother.
I can't believe I got to see this magnificant stallion so close up!
I pray she can live her life out at Sand Wash Basin wild and free.
All members of this group were sound and healthy, even blooming. I feel blessed to have seen them!
