Vogue and Yellow Cat

Today I see a stallion in a group of 4 bachelors who I do not recognize...he is black, has a star, and is gnarly looking. he is the spookiest of the four, the other three I know...
Behind the black guy is Outlaw.
Also in the group was the pretty young palomino stallion, I failed to get any good photos of him. We have named him Nick, he often is seen with Outlaw. Here is the big black guy again.
The buckskin was also here this day.
Next we see a mare and a stallion. I recognize the pretty dun as Yellow Cat who used to be in Sage's band. I hadn't seen her since this winter. She looks great, really plump! This chestnut stallion is one I have not seen before or don't remember.
Here is the mare. She has a nice stripe down her face. Sometimes I wonder if she is Sage's daughter?
The stallion's right eye is blue and he has a Sand Wash blaze. My friend (and theirs) names him Blazer. He is a classic handsome chestnut mustang. Very Sand Wash typey.
All American mustang this one...
I was really glad to find Vogue and her filly, Gem back with the big bay, Sage. The last time I saw this stallion he was alone, but before that he had these 2 horses plus 2 extra mares, Raven and Yellow Cat. Somehow he managed to get these 2 back...
They came running towards us to get a better view of us humans.
And then seemed to pose for this photo.
Gem has Sage's stripe and is all filly! Even when Sage had the 2 extra mares, Gem was the only foal.
As they moved off I silently thanked them for letting me view them...I have a special fondness for these guys. They were some of the first horses I saw when I began documenting this herd last fall.
Next we come upon Prince.
Mystic and Madeleine are still with the band and seem to be doing well. Prince was paying special attention to them.
